E. & C Photography(Creative Expressions & Consultation) coming soon to the Minnis Solar Consultants, LLC family of websites. C.E. & C Photography is a subsidiary brand of Minnis Solar Consultants, LLC and will function to provide content for our family of websites.  C. E. & C Photography will also offer digital media services to the general public, on a non-profit basis….at least for now. Mr. Minnis has been able to combine his skills & passions for helping others and now offers a fantasic interactive website for the public to learn about solar power. It’s an alternative to the typical online digital marketing website in the solar space.  Mr. Minnis believes solar marketing websites found on the internet today fall short in offering a genuine interactive community where the public can learn about solar.  His interactive website and new live podcasts are intended to be a safe community where the pubic can learn more without worry of the typical sales tactics. Our menu of services creates the “BEST OF TWO WORLDS” : 1. Online consultations and 2. Old-school in-person consultation. Combining old with the new. Passion for Helping Others

 Mr. Minnis began his career in the helping professions (social work & counseling). He achieved a BA in Social Work from the University of Iowa in 1991 and worked in the social work profession for about 12 years having achieved his Bachelor of Arts Degree 

Passion for Photography

In 2009, After rediscovering some childhood creative passions, Duane began pursuing the art of photography. He has been very passionate about photography and has a large portfolio of personal work that has not been recently displayed publicly. Mr. Minnis has re-established C. E. & C. Phtography.  Duane has had websites in the past with subject matter focused on his photography.  He has periodically done portrait photography for family members both in the US and Internationally with about 7 international trips to the Philippines.  Minnis Solar consultants, LLC has now launched a brand new digital media content website where his passion for photography & video can be utilized in his Solar Consulting business at the current time.  The expanded services involve Model Portfolios, Actor/Actress Promotional Work, & even Website Building Services.  You can now find his work again copyright and brand of C. E. & C Photography.

Marketing and Business

Around 2013 Duane Minnis embarked on a new Journey as he began working in marketing and lead generation for the largest tree preservation company in the Pacifi Northwest called Evergreen Tree Care, INC ( A good company by many standards) Mr. Minnis learned the skills of door to door lead generation working full time commission only work for 4 years continuous.  Duane went on to become a licensed Insurance producer in health, property & casualty, & Life.  following his work in the insurance industry Mr. Minnis relocated from Seattle, Washington to the State of Utah. In 2016 Mr. Minnis brought his marketing and lead generation skills into the solar industry working for a number of Utah solar companies.  He generated leads via professional networking, door to door appointment setting, & other methods.  Duane was recognized as a leader and highly motivated at the solar companies he worked.  In a short time, Mr. Minnis developed into managing and training teams.  

Starting Minnis Solar Consultants, LLC

While working for a number of solar companies, Mr. Minnis noticed that there were strengths and weaknesses in operations.  Unable to implement changes within the organizations he was working for, Duane formed his own company to create his own vision and direction.  On October 29, 2018, Minnis Solar Consultants, LLC was formed in the State of Utah.  Since that time, Duane has been working hard to build a Brand that is unique and offers the community high quality consultative services. Rather than attempt to generate business, sell solar systems, and monitor the long sales cycle of 45-90 days for installation of solar panel systems, Duane began to focus exclusively on consultation services which is an area of strength going back over 30 years to his days in the social work profession. Duane loves helping people and has now married his people and counseling background with business and marketing.
